Argentine-Spanish filmmaker, professor, and film curator, with a degree in Filmmaking and Film Education from the Universidad del Cine (Buenos Aires), where he worked as an Adjunct Professor.
He directed the short films The Second Man (2021), winner of the Méliès Award at Mar del Plata Film Festival, and Animal Transport (2023), premiered at BAFICI, Palm Springs, Fantastic Fest and PÖFF Shorts. The latter was nominated for Best Short Film at the 2023/2024 Cóndor de Plata Awards, and was also featured in online short film showcases such as Vimeo Staff Picks and Short of the Week.
He holds a master’s degree in Film Curating from Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (San Sebastian. Previous Steps: Inquiries into the Training of Filmmakers in Film Schools, his graduation project, is a book on film pedagogy.
Previous Steps received both an Ibermedia grant and a Fulbright grant awarded by Spain’s Ministry of Culture, enabling him to expand his research to the United States while based at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema in New York. The book will be published by TAIPEI Libros in late 2026.
Alongside his teaching, he serves as an academic advisor for the One-Year Intensive Course (formerly the Academy Preparation Program — APP), FAMU’s international training program in Prague, Czech Republic, as well as for Universidad Panamericana in Guatemala.
He is a member of Colectivo Rutemberg, one of the organizers of the Argentine Film Survey, and co-founder of TAIPEI / Crítica de cine, where he writes about film pedagogy. Over the years, he has worked as an assistant programmer for the San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Basque Cinematheque, and has served on film festival juries in the United States, Guatemala, Peru, Argentina, and Macao.
He is currently distributing Open Doors, a documentary short about ENERC, and developing The Concrete’s Song, his next short film, while teaching at the Basque Country Film School in Bilbao.
